Controlled Chamber

The UV LED Accelerated Aging Chamber with Cooling is a testing chamber to simulate solar related aging, while controlling the substrate temperature. This custom product includes: Table-top electrical power box housing, high intensity Hoenle UV LED Spot 100 HP IC, table-top light-sealed UV chamber consisting of 6 individual test cells (number of test cells is optional), lifting tables inside individual cells for height adjustment (height ranges between 40mm and 80mm), water cold plate mounted on top of table and chiller.

 Light Source:

– 365nm and 405nm, High intensity Hoenle UV LED Spot 100 HP IC (High Power, Integrated Control)

– Intensity measured up to 300mW/cm² with uniformity ±10% from average intensity value, at 80mm height

– LED lifespan approximately 20,000 hours

– Customizable light source from any of Hoenle Systems are available

General Structure:

– One table-top electrical power box housing

– One table-top light-sealed UV chamber, with customized amount of test cells

– Height adjustment controlled via Lifting table in each test cell. Height ranges between 40mm and 80mm (Distance between light output and work stage).

– Liquid-cooled cold plate mounted on each lifting table for heat extraction from the test substrate (Heat is induced by energy absorption from UV Light)

Liquid Chiller, Cold Plate for substrate temperature control:

– Chiller liquid temperature setting between 5∞C and 45∞C

– Cooling capacity 2kW

– 5″ x 6″ Cold Plate with thermal resistance @ 0.009 ∞C/W (0.005 ∞F-Hr/BTU) @ water flow rate of 2 l/min

System Control:

– Optional External Digital Timer for long operation countdown

– Door Open/Closed sensor for UV cut-off if door is open during UV operation

– Emergency stop function and main system ON/OFF lock

Heating Chamber

The UV LED Accelerated Aging Chamber with Heating is a testing chamber to simulate solar aging under high temperature. This custom product includes: An ultra-high intensity Hoenle UV LED Powerline LC, a light-sealed and heat-insulated stainless steel UV chamber for testing, full bench support for the system, LED heads mounted to a height adjustable arm (height ranges between 45 and 280mm), a water chiller for LED heads, a heated work stage, and system control.

Light Source:

– 365nm or 405nm, Ultra-high intensity Hoenle UV LED Powerline LC (Liquid Cooled)

– Intensity measured at 1400mW/cm² with uniformity ±5% from average intensity value, at 170mm height

– LED lifespan approximately 20,000 hours

General Structure:

– A light-sealed and heat-insulated stainless steel UV chamber for testing

– Full bench support for the system

Adjustable Heights:

– LED heads are mounted to a manual height adjustment arm.

– Height ranges between 45 and 280mm (Distance between light output and work stage)

Water Chiller for LED Heads:

– All LED heads are Liquid-cooled by standard water chiller.

– Cooling capacity 2kW

Heated Work Stage:

– Work stage is heated with temperature control up to 250∞C with – uniformity of ±3∞C across the surface.

System Control: 

– Main PLC Control with touch display for UV power setting, operation countdown and process logging
